Learn 2 learn through mental imagery

Dyslexia Awareness Week special

Does any of this fit you or your child?

  • Very creative and a fantastic imagination?
  • Extenemely confused by literacy, numeracy and can't concentrate?
  • Has exceptional talents that go unrecognised?
  • You want to find the missing link?

Mental imagery is a subject that few people know about, but everyone uses. If you didn't have a mental image of your car how would you recognise it? If you didn't have a mental image of your loved ones how would you recognise them?

Understanding mental imagery is at the route of many learning difficulties, learning differences, interdisciplinary minds and neuro-diversity. Their mental images give them access to fabulous skills and at the same time some deep confusion.

Sign up for the recordings of our free teleseminars by just filling in the form opposite, there are a series of 3 videos:

  • Introduction to mental imagery
  • A school’s view of using mental imagery
  • A family’s view of using mental imagery.

These people often have very fast brains, astounding imagery with exceptional access to knowledge and a lightening ability to connect together facts. They are Extra-Perceptive, Intelligent and Creative (EPIC). When you have a lightening fast brain like a Ferrari and no breaks you can be in deep trouble, if you don't have expertise on the best way to drive a Ferrari.

EPIC people may have labels like Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, Sensory overload, Aspergers and Autism. All will benefit from learning how to drive their Ferrari.

You can learn very quickly skills to drive your Ferrari in a safe environment, by just gaining control over the mental imagery skills you were born with, but have not honed.

Meanwhile you can listen to our short teleseminars, about 5 mins each, and learn about how mental imagery skills can help you and your family. It is great for accelerating learning, whether or not you have any challenges.

"This is so easy, isn't it cheating"

Empowering Learning offers services from the Olive Hickmott, the co-founder of the work known as Seeing Spells Achieving, in association with those we have trained. This work has been further developed, now called Empowering Learning, simplified and extended for other learning difficulties such as ADD/ADHD, Dyspraxia, Tourettes, Dysgraphia, Aspergers and Autism and published in Bridges to Success - How to Transform Learning Difficulties. Empowering Learning is not a replacement for other educational practices and techniques it is complementary.
